"Bible Doctrine" by Wayne Grudem
How do we know the Bible is God's Word? What is sin and where did it come from? How is Jesus fully God and fully man? What are spiritual gifts? When and how will Christ return? If you've asked questions like these, then "systematic theology" is no abstract term. It's an approach to finding answers every Christian needs to know.
Abridged from Grudem's Systematic Theology and made accessible to the average reader, Bible Doctrine covers the same essentials of the faith, giving you a firm grasp on seven key topics:

-
The Doctrine of the Word of God
-
The Doctrine of God
-
The Doctrine of Man
-
The Doctrine of Christ
-
The Doctrine of the Application of Redemption
-
The Doctrine of the Church
-
The Doctrine of the Future
Like Systematic Theology, this book is marked by its clarity, its strong scriptural emphasis, its thoroughness in scope and detail, and its treatment of such timely topics as spiritual warfare and the gifts of the Spirit. But you don't need to have had several years of Bible school to reap the full benefits of Bible Doctrine. It's easy to understand---and it's packed with solid, biblical answers to your most important questions.
"The Bible Knowledge Commentary: New Testament"
• What does That verse mean?
• How should I interpret this passage?
• What is the significance of this word or phrase in Hebrew or Aramaic?
• How do Bible-time customs help me understand the meaning of this passage?
• How does the information on the author, historical background, and features of a Bible book help interpret that book?

The Bible Knowledge Commentary answers these and other questions about the Scriptures, discussing all the Bible verse by verse and often phrase by phrase. In addition, maps, charts, and diagrams help you grasp the meanings of the biblical text. Unlike most others this commentary is by authors from one school - Dallas Theological Seminary. The Bible Knowledge Commentary - popular in style and scholarly in content - will deepen your understanding of God's written Word.
The Bible Knowledge Commentary will be welcomed by a wide spectrum of Bible students, from the beginner, who will find it easy to understand and easy to use, to the advanced, who will find it consistently thorough and reliable. The readable style, combined with careful scholarship, make this a Bible study aid I and others will add to our "most-used" shelf of books.
"The Bible Knowledge Commentary: Old Testament"
Based on the NIV, this major commentary comes from the faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary and offers help from expert scholars in interpreting the Scriptures from a historical, grammatical, and premillennial perspective. Question such as: What does That verse mean?, How should I interpret this passage?, What is the significance of this word or phrase in Hebrew or Aramaic?, How do Bible-time customs help me understand the meaning of this passage?, How does the information on the author, historical background, and features of a Bible book help interpret that book?, are answered in this book. This commentary is verse-by-verse and phrase by phrase. Maps, charts, and diagrams are also included and problem passages, alleged discrepancies, customs, geographical locations are all explained.
"The New Inductive Study Bible"
The New Inductive Study Bible is designed to encourage you to study the Bible for yourself, rather than relying on the interpretation of commentaries. It presents an inductive method of study and Bible marking which leads you directly back to the source, allowing God's Word to become its own commentary.
Its study tools and questions teach you how to understand and apply Scripture to your own life. Through an effective system of Bible-marking, the Bible itself becomes a personal record of insight and growth.
Discover how letting God's Word speak for itself is the best way to experience its life-transforming power!
“Already Gone: Why Your Kids Will Quit Church and What You Can Do To Stop It” by Ken Ham, Britt Beemer, Todd Hillard
