As important as academic instruction is in the classroom, biblical instruction in all areas of learning greatly impacts the education of our students. Dr. Ben Marshall, a biblical counselor and executive director of Freedom That Lasts, taught the middle and high school students principles leading to a biblical strategy . Dr. Marshall wisely led in navigating the effects of sin and suffering in our hearts and in the world around us. Students were able to carry away principles and insight in understanding the reality in which we live and the importance of our responses based upon the interpretation of reality. Even though we live in a sin cursed world, the students were encouraged with the hope of the Gospel found in Jesus Christ, the One in whom we place our dependence.
