On Monday, November 11, our Veterans' Day Chapel brought celebration of our Faith family heroes. Nearly 30 veterans joined for a time of music and a message from 1988 graduate Ernie Handley. Those veterans in attendance gave a brief word to express their areas of service for our country. Students were excited to have one of their new teachers in attendance--veteran James Prewitt. A neighbor of FCS, veteran Cecil Gardner, 94 years old, was the oldest veteran at our celebration. To honor the men and women, high school students played handbells and sang, and middle school and elementary students also sang of God's blessings on our country.
